Default STR Transmission question

My STR is getting to the point (mileage) that I would normally be taking the car in for the transmission to be fully serviced, but after talking with Jaguar they have told me everything is "internal" and there really is nothing to be serviced. I am getting this feeling they want me to drive it until it breaks and then will kindly replace the whole thing for a hefty unwarrantied price tag. Usually the dealer tries anything they can to sell me a service with the classic "becauase its an R" 30% markup (even if it has nothing to do with any of the R upgrades), but this time I was suprised that they offered nothing. So to the techs out there, is this correct and any advice as to what to do to keep the transmission in top shape to ensure a long life?
