yes you are looking at the correct pump . in front of the radiators .
the one in the picture was incorrect.

this pump here is a massive up grade for the STR or any jag SC set up .
just solder on the jag pigtail , remove the rubber mount insulator , no other mods to fit it .

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Water-Pum...bXuX:rk:1:pf:0

you will need the correct part no. as far as testing with different sensors go . .
i have seen knock sensors bolted to the to the strut towers for testing purposes before.
leaving them stuffed in the piping and using the incorrect part may hinder your test results .

you can switch the plugs left to right to see if thew code follows the dud sensor also .
i sure hope for your sake its not a broken wire . those are no fun to chase .

The supercharger radiator stays quite cool when working properly.....I have the upgraded pump as Datsports mentions, and my supercharger cooling system works great....after a hard run, I can pop the hood and the intake coolers are warm to lukewarm to the touch.....maybe 75 to 80 degrees F....the way I checked the old pump was to disconnect one supply hose at the intake air cooler on the passenger side....turn the key on and a good stream of coolant should flow....mine did not...it was weak....the upgrade Bosch pump looked like a garden hose....I know this does not help with the knock sensors, but I hope the link in my previous post will...good luck, you are in good hands with the know-how available on here

That was one of my problems. All the contacts were corroded. The pump worked after cleaning it but I upgraded to the Mercedes pump.
