Switch pack removal
OK, first question that I simply cannot sort at the moment.
08/01 S type 3ltr SE.
The electric mirrors have stopped working, the fuse 22 is OK (new fuse). Suggestion has been to "lift out the switch pack and clean the switch, and check for dry solder joints", sounds simple enough, BUT, I cannot easily see how this switch pack releases from the door trim. I DO NOT want to damage the wood trim.
I have read all FAQ's I think I can find, but nothing so far.
Does the door trim need to come off to release this assembly, or is there some "smoke and mirrors" I am missing here.
Being as its "her car", a whole 4 days, damage to ANYTHING is going to be FATAL.
The mirrors DID work, and are set for my driving position, and all 5ft of her needs them in a different place, but it aint happening.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Where can I find these publications on here.
A link or something would be handy, as my computer savvy is basic at best.
Thanks in advance once more
Just look at the top of the forum. The sticky's there contain both items and much instruction. One is labeled JTIS and the other is handbook download. Read both of them from beginning to end.
