I am trying to get switchback led strips to work on my custom built S Type headlights. I have the white function of the led connected to the parking light. The amber function is connected to my signal circuit. When i turn the parking lights on they come on as amber but they should be coming on as white. I believe it is because the signal circuit is constant power with switched(pulsed) ground. So when the switchback module sees power at the amber side it automatically goes to amber as it is designed to do.

Does anyone know how to get around this?

It explained how to add a relay to provide a switched-positive trigger command for a back-up camera. Some of the details may be applicable to your situation.

PS: THIS thread is actually about adding DTRL angel eyes. BUT I also added meanwhile the switchback lights (in parallel to the angel eyes), as mentioned further down in the thread-link above.
I reckon, the difficult thing back them was, where to find the proper signals, which I described there, adding the switch-backs was child's play after that.
