Test drove a 2006 Type-S R

My first drive in an S-type R and enjoyed it, except there was a warning on the display reading "Cruise Control Not Available" Does anyone know what this may indicate?
Also, the tires are performance all season Yokohamas Avant 4's. Will this car make it through snowy/icy days or is a snow tire changeover a given?
What have you fellow 2006 owners run into in terms of repair issues.
Thanks!

Bring it to a mechanic before you buy it...If it has green instead of ORANGE coolant, move on and look for another STR...
The coolant tank will eventually leak ($125 for a new one) and high odds somewhere down the road there will be the under the supercharger hose will leak, often costing around $1000...That's the biggie...Plan on getting an alignment to Jag's updated spec (found here on the FAQ) the day you get it or risk the car eating the insides of the tires...
As far as driving with All Seasons...That's entirely on you, the driver...I drove a high HP car with summer tires several times in the snow...It's doable, but obviously all season would be better, followed by winter tires, followed but studded...
