just had my trans drained and filled today by indy jag guy. i supplied him with the new trans filer/pan which came with a gasket. he had said mine was leaking as well , i didnt notice because it was leaking on top of the splash shield. anyhow , that filter kit ran me about $110 from ebay. i had also given him 7 liters of lifeguard6 that ran me $18 each. i dont know if your fluid is new and can be salvaged, but.. if your in there anyhow, you might as well do the new fluid. he charged me a little over $200 to do the trans and rear diff.

It would be nice to know which MY you are asking about!

BTW its probably not your pan seal leaking.
