i have a 2003 s type v6 jag...my transmission will shift nice but when it shifts down to 1st it shifts hard. when i take off it will slip and will surge forward...all the other gears work great...i just changed the filter and trans oil...its seems to shift like it is low on fluid...checked the fluid level and its okay...please help..

 

What are your fuel trims at idle?

 

dont know what u mean...i am a shade tree mechanic...how would i ck the fuel trims
