Transmission problem??
The temperature has dropped to the 40's and 30'd here. I've noticed the past couple of days that when the Jag is cold there is a slight delay in the transmission when starting from a start. No other problems delays, lurches or weird noises in other gears and once hot all is good. Is this normal?

No RPM hunting.
I would like to add, when the fluid is hot it expands, quite possibly it could just be under the right level at cold, but as it heats, it raises into the correct range for operation. Could possible just be slightly low on fluid.
Mine (2003 STR 160,000 miles) is doing the same. Just took it to the dealer and they added about 1qt fluid to it. Still doing it, I asked about a filter and fluid change and they said Jaguar does not recommend it. Trying to figure out if I should just do it anyways. I'm near Des Moines, IA, so trying to find a place I can trust to take it to.
