Default Transmission Surge

I have been looking for information on the TSB which addresses a transmission surge (engine speed jumps up and down by 200 rpm) that occurs between 40-60 mph when cold. I cannot find the actual TSB number in any of the discussion threads. I want to get this issue addressed by the dealer or a local shop.

Does anyone know what it is? If there is a copy of the TSB, would love the link.

Thanks.

Nevermind. I found the link to the thread. Someone was nice enough to include a pdf of the tsb.

My immediate thought was "Torque Converter".

The easiest to find is in the TSB forum sticky, look for the word
surge

The 6HP26 had alot of TSBs when they were introduced and we reconfigured, flushed fluids etc.

Here are some old TSBs.

To keep up with the ref #s, I'd add:

S307-11 Growling Noise During Warm-up

S307-14 Surge During Warm up at 40mph to 60mph

both of which are in the TSB forum sticky.

jagV8-

Thanks. That would be good. I get that growling noise on occasion, but fortunately, not all the time.
