Default Trusted site for replacement keys,

Hey all, The keys to my 2000 S type were recently stolen, I called up the local dealership but they want almost 500 bucks for 2 non-remote keys to be made, most of that cost is for the keys themselves and not cutting/programming. They only sell sets of 2 and each non-remote key is 189.00. They said that they can cut and reprogram keys that i bring in. My question is if someone knows of a trustworthy aftermarket set of blank keys with the transponder chip that i can purchase? Doesn't have to come with a remote.

I bought mine of ebay, United kingdom from this dealer.
Original Jaguar X type S type XJ XJR 4 Button Remote Key Fob 433MHz + New Blade | eBay.

Just make sure that the frequency is correct for you as this is a key for European cars.

Do you happen to know where to find the frequency? I'm having trouble finding it myself.

Sorry all that I know is that America had a different frequency(315) whilst Europe used the higher frequency but this is for the four buttons and not the. Transponder. I would ask the dealer.

He is key specialist so he should be able to help you.

If you check the vin number through ids it will tell you for which market the car was produced for to make sure that you don't have a grey import.
