Default Trying to figure out the transmission?

I own a 2005 Jaguar S-type,sport 3.0 and I am having trouble figuring out which transmission gasket fits this car. Also, I need to know how do you replace the transmission fluid lost and is there a special tool used to put it back in since the transmission is supposed to be sealed?

Ahrrg! Welcome to S-World. Your 05 S-Type has the ZF 6 speed trans. Using the forum search feauture, read the many threads on ZF trans. issues. If you opt not to heed to my advice then you'll likely recieve the full wrath of jagv8, et al. Your choice....

RTFM most definitely does not apply in this case!

RTES does though, read the excellent stickies.

jagheadache here you go:

If you can DIY, its not as hard as the above links seem.

Make sure you can get the fill plug out before you do anything else.
Get a kit that includes the larger head Torx screws.
Getting the old ones out usually means taking a cold chisel to some of them to make them turn.
If you haven't got a gun-type thermometer I bought a cheap pack of temp sensitive stickers and stuck a couple on the new oil pan.
