Turbo boost control A
Passenger side has 2 common meanings which are exact opposites. Stick to R & L or for engine if you prefer Bank 1 & 2. If you have a code, might be wiser to post it.

it would be the twin turbo diesel, i dont think it ever made it to the us
the car is 2.7d,2007 the code was read and " P132B-00" turbo boost control A performance,
car broke down 2 weeks ago and egr valves was suspected 2 new valve's where purchased and fitted then new code came up.
I have learned since that turbo boost A is the stage of the turbo is in on ramping up,i have done voltage readings on the egrs with only 3v showing so ive investigated further and made resistance readings on the ecm showing 1.3Mohm
this is leading me to a faulty ecm, traced fuse supply which should be 5amp and some clown has put 20a fuse in it
so I have taken an educated diagnosis in thinking some where in the history of the car the ecm or I/O have been faulty so somebody has fitted a 20a fuse instead of a 5a, so now there is no protection to the ecm, I`ve got a fault somewhere (hopefully egr`s) and the ecm has gone to short circuit.
I have ordered a 2nd hand ecm (ebay) in the hope this will lead me further to identify the fault.
what's your opinion in my madness?

hopefully not, the reason being its already been programmed to another car so my car should start, if not plan b is to open the ecm and work out which chip controls the pid`s as too tuning it should read the engines I/O and adapt.
if it had been a brand new ecm then it would need main dealer inputs, hopefully I don't have to go down that street due to costs.

Trending Topics
no joy in ecm, so my next thread to do is remove turbo`s do a loom check, hopefully find faults if not its looking like replacement turbo`s,
Q. do actuators have to be calibrated to the turbo i.e length of movement etc or does the ecm control all this?
