Default Uneven acceleration

This morning heading to work i noticed that my acceleration seemed to be rising unevenly. Basically when i lightly press down the gas and the car starts to accelerate down the road i feel an uneven pull and looking at the speedometer confirms this. The RPM Meter is rising as i accelerate but its not a smooth rise. As the meter is rising its bobbing up and down. At first i suspected bad spark plugs, misfires but siting at the red light there didnt seem to be any misfires, smooth at idle speed. And when i slam the gas pedal again its smooth. Anyone has any idea what it could be? Perhaps the throttle body or something like that?

I had the same problem. It feels like it pulls, then no pull, then pulls again. Turned out to be my s/c belt was slipping. Replaced the belt and it is back to pulling hard again.

Also, it never threw a code or had a CEL.

Hmmm, havent noticed if it happens when its about to shift. However it seems to be happening from 20 mph all the way to 50, 60 mph and there is shifting taking place between those 2 speeds so in my case its happening while its shifting as well. Will also change that belt and hope for the best.

It is a bit of a PITA to change the s/c belt. You have to back the tensioner off 3/4" to slide the belt past it. It is a 13mm bolt, but it helps if you have a long open end wrench.

I experienced some of those symptoms yesterday. Turns out I did a big smokey burnout all the way into 3rd gear .

Did you ever figure out what was causing the acceleration issue?
