Default vacuum leaks

I smoked the car again today and found at least 3 leaks. Seems to be one at the front of the drivers side valve cover, one near the pcv diaphram, one in the line from that to the rear of the engine and finally one I cannot see down below the brake and bypass nipples in the intake elbow. It's this one that is bugging the %^*& out of me, because I can't see what's down there because of all the hoses and wiring. Anyone have a clue. Smoke rises right at the same area, but below it, as the infamous brake booster tube elbow (though it is repaired). Getting a bit frustrated with the car.

3 leaks can't have all happened at once unless someone did some really crappy work or something.

How long have you had the car? What explanation have you for the situation? Bought recently cheap or what?

Ahh. Might see more clearly with a borescope (USB camera).

Here are some pics from a forum member (Sorry I forget who) that show the back of the engine and the lack of access.

In the fourth photo of the induction elbow, is the boss with the finger size hole and two bolt holes opposite each other a water inlet? I just can see what the heck could be causing a vacuum leak from below the pb nipple.
