Default Valve Cover Vents

Hello, I have a 2002 S Type 3L - I broke the 2 vents (like PCV valves) on the valve covers, what are they called or what is the hose assembly called? It connects to the air intake

Thank you!

Welcome Jay.

Please do Intro in the New Members Area when the Jag is sorted.

The 2002, is "possibly" what is know as the X200, engine size emblem IN the bonnet (hood), or the X202, emblem actually IN the grille, nothing in the bonnet.

Different PCV system on the 2 models, so different pipes, and part nimbers.

The S Type Tech Section should know, once the model is sorted.

Welcome to the forum Jay,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to S-Type forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Thank you .... I cannot find any anything under the hood with that designation, there is a sticker on the body of the left door frame with various codes, it was manufactured May 2001. It appears that there is a PVC valve that has melted on the rear center of the engine with a vacuum line going to the front of the intake manifold and one on each valve cover that go to the air intake right before the throttle body ... Breaking those by removing them seems to be common ...
