Is there a certain digit in the VIN that tells you if the car is an R? I know mine is. Just curious

 

 

If it has supercharger then it is an"R", if it doesn't then it isn't, simples !!!!!!!!

 

Yes, but it's easier to have the DMV search for how many R's there are left on the road than to drive everwhere and look under hoods.

The R is a rare car for sure. We have had production numbers posted before and they were made in the low thousands world wide.

Yes I seen the production numbers. At first I thought mine was super rare at only 205 for the 2003 year model, but then I learn there were like 3,405 or somthing like that. I was just going to see how many my department of motor vehicles listed were on the road here in the states today. If thats possible.
