Waht's up with jaguarlandroverclassic.com
I've been using this website to build a parts list for my 2005 STR and my tech matched the pricing so I went with his source as it's local.
My car is almost done but I have two last pieces that fit under the lower windscreen fascia/seal piece that he couldn't get
this place https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com lists them and I built a simple guest order and ordered them. That was last Thursday and and I can see the order but I've not gotten a notice of shipment or anything.
If this place just that old fashioned and backwards? There is no email, text or phone access. Or is this just England and like Europe everyone is on vaycay in August?
Thanks.

I could only find a Showroom Number: +44 (024) 7656 6600. Maybe ask them for the number for the parts department.
And I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I just stumbled over a news feed:
Jaguar Land Rover has posted a loss of £524 million for the first quarter of the 2023 financial year, as it continues to suffer the impacts of the global semiconductor shortage and Covid lockdowns. The Tata-owned British company sold 78,825 new cars from April to June – a drop of around 46,000 year on year, representing a 37% drop.
...so, who knows...?

So the parts arrived yesterday. These were lightweight and easily folded into a small box.
What's so weird about my experience with this parts distributor is the lack of any communication about my order until the day it ships and then the next day it's here.
After two inquiries I never got a response. From a customer service standpoint it's like they are operating circa 1990. Even Rockauto.com has a better customer service interface.
Clearly the shipping logistics with DHL is VERY efficient.
But ... I do have the parts. Now, if my mechanic can only figure our why the automatic Evap diagnostic won't clear I might get my car back.

Well these are not for under the lower windscreen finisher but rather are for under the metal cowl area. So you have to replace the entire finisher. Mine is a bit warped in one spot possibly due to engine heat as the insulation WAS almost completely missing. That's probably due to a windshield replacement.
