Found another $3K V8 JAG, were the owner and technicans gave up!
One dude payed $3.5k just for a bad freeze plug on his Jag.
Platinum Silver 2002 S TYPE with 131K miles.
If paint and interior are in good shape, I'll put the fix on my forum &
for Parts!
http://www.alldata.com for data.
1) Profile the car, by Condition, Make, model, and mileage.
2) Check KBB & NADA for values.
3) Get a purchase agreement, that the car will pass an emission test by your own inspector.
4) Consider a Extended warrenty for insurance.
5) Just like a bad marriage, consider a divorce for bad products & service.
6) Consider a CarMax type of inspection.
It's against the law, but the owner beleaves, that dealer reset code prior to selling him the car.
