Whats some good custom seat covers for the s-type?
Looking to buy some good seat covers, the leather sucks in these cars! Its not ripping yet, but the front seats are beginning to crack. Anyone have seat covers on there s-types?
Er, the leather does not suck but people commonly fail to treat it as leather. Fail to feed, etc. It's a natural material with known low-tech needs...
What have you done over (say) the last 3 years to look after it?

I have had the car for a little over a year and the seats have been resprayed with dye, I can tell by looking at it. The s-type does not seem like it has thats very thick leather feel to it like mercedes, bmw, audi etc has, even my old XJ6 had much more of a thick leather feeling.......
Well........ +1 again!

I had lots of cracks in leather - used this one dye - was a terrific match - just wiped on using a piece of foam and let dry overnight. Looks a million times better - couldn't be any simpler to fix 10 year old seats (didn't bother with the various options to make it more glossy or darken/lighten). Now if your seams are ripped etc that would obviously not work. I do use other leather cleaner's and conditioning stuff once in a while - never been too happy with them.

I have found the Jaguar leather to be excellent in quality. But as was posted above the prior owners trashed it for you.
My 2005 with 93K miles has only a touch of wear on the driver’s side bolster. Everything else is perfect. Have been very pleased as I really don't like leather but that is the current standard.
