Sportston: Only the best combined in just ONE van...
You did not pick up on the Buick Reviera two-tone red/white 1957 in there...
That's the idea of the colour-design - but that is probably because back then I did not have yet those 4 chrome dots on the front doors... Here they are:
Multiple split personality disorder. It’s worse than I thought! You’d better take immediate action. Would you like the number of my psychiatrist?
Nice paint job though.
They’re good old vans the E2000s. Bulletproof engineering and nice to drive. Hardly any have survived over here in the UK. Most were over-worked by builders until rust killed them.

Mine does not have auto dipping mirrors to aid reversing.
'Er indoors never drives it so I set the seat memory 2nd position to have the mirrors dipping to see the rear quarters and wheels.
Have to actually stop to change it but no biggy and is quite neat.
Hi Steve
So I did the same thing on my 01 S-Type; set the mem 2 with the wing mirror pointing down for when I am parallel parking. But, the setting of the mirror gets lost after I turn off the engine; the steering wheel and seat mems are kept. Strange, that it works in testing while the engine is running, soon as I turn it off and turn it back on, the wing settings are gone.
There's too many threads about troubles and tribulations on here lately, how about something lighter? What's your favorite feature or gismo on your S Type? My favorite and a true lifesaver is the beepers for backing up, that let you know before you hit something. What good is a camera without beepers, unless you like watching the car hit things on TV?
I like the rear window sunshade, looks very classy/upscale, although I do forget to use it quite often.
I also just added an aftermarket FM bluetooth transmitter Nulaxy [Upgraded Landscape Screen] KM29 Bluetooth FM Transmitter 1.8" Color Screen
I'm just adding a rear back up camera too (per my wife's request) AUTO-VOX T1400 Upgrade Wireless Backup Camera and rear view mirror..
I wish the question was top five things.
i love the fat comfy steering wheel.
I love the Seats .
I love the wood grain/interior.
.
I’m gonna combine three into one.
As my fave gadget under these three pretenses.
(design/power/sound):/-
I just love the engine and supercharger ,
and the sound/power they make together.
AAA+. thanks Jaguar it’s a pleasure.
One gizmo that is great and I should mention is that the climate control system has a dehumidifier in it which goes a long way to keeping the interior in good shape and eliminating any mold and mildew problems.

I kind of thought, every A/C system would have by design a dehumidifier? Has it not? I would like to think that my '97 Fairlane has that, too. Is it not standard to find a water puddle under the car, after you park it, if the A/C had been used for a while before parking?
...which brings me to yet another great advantage, a "dehumidifier-A/C" has: If you drive into the dessert and forgot to bring water, fix a bottle with duct-tape under the water pipe from the dehumidifier...
