Wheel sizing
Hello all,
I am an auto enthusiast. I have always owned fun "quick" cars. In my garage now is a 2002 Honda S2000 as well as a 2005 WRX STI for fun. There is also a Honda Odyssey and CRV for boring commuter/kid hauling duties.
Well, my wife's grandmother just gave us her old car. A 2004 4.2 S-Type original owner with only 64,xxx miles on it. Mostly garage-maintained and pretty nice overall. Being the car guy I am, I have already started looking at some changes to it. One of the first things to do is to get rid of the 17-inch wheels for something a bit more aggressive, as well as slightly lower. I noticed H&R makes a nice spring for these.
What is a good "flush: offset for these cars? Would 19x85 and 19x10 + 15 be too much?

on the lowered v6 i have, i run 235 35 19, 8.5J all around, (kinda stock overall diameter, which is recommended obviously)
ET 30 on the front, and im still running et 45 on the rear as i need spacers,
on the STR you could definitely run the same on the front, and on the rear et45 but with 9.5j wheels and 275 or 265 tires, with the correct sidewall %, i think 25 or 30, do the maths.

I saw the H&R springs too, but could not find adequate shocks.
