Where does your S Type R shift?

Where does your S Type R shift?
I noticed that my 2003 STR won't rev past 5750 rpm. No matter which gear its in. I've heard that they won't rev to the redline in the first two gears. But mine won't do it in any gear. Even if I try to manually shift, it will hit the rev limiter at 5750 rpm. Will a reflash help this? Will bad plugs cause this also?

Does'nt it seem a bit weird for these cars to peak horsepower around 6100 rpm, but they never actually reach that rpm level. I watched a video on "google videos", some guy blowing out his STR to around 150 mph, and his car shifted at about the same point as my car. Definately before 6000 rpm. These cars can't be reaching peak performance.

It's a V8, not a 4 banger. Plus, it's supercharged. Those shift points seem normal to me. Just look at these:

RE: Where does your S Type R shift?
Yeah its a V8. However, the factory rates the engine at 400 bhp @ 6100 RPM. If that iswhere the horsepower actually peaks, and transmission logic or ECM tuning keeps it from reaching that level. Then our cars are never actually able to make 400 bhp. (Shifting before 6000) That being the case, the cars are even more impressive. But if there is something I can do to bring the performance to its peak level, I'm all for it. And thanks for the vids.
