Default Will a 5r55n From an LS bolt up to my 00 s type

My tranny is pretty much going, and I found a lincoln LS 5r55n tranny for $250 with 60 day warranty. I know the tranny is the same, but how about the connectors, sensors, wiring, etc? I'm hoping it is a direct fit as $250 would be a hell of a deal to fix my tranny issues.

It should just plug in since both cars were VERY related in the "early years" 2000 - 2002. They both shared everything underneath at that point, including the computer systems.

I would just make sure you get one from a matching motor car... IE v6 to v6 or v8 to v8... Don't know if there would be an issue matching up, say, a v6 trans to a v8 engine.. Yea, the parts are the same but there may be a computer issue..

Hey Josworth. Thanks, thats what I thought. This tranny is from a v8, and my car is a v6. I did check with a salvage yard and the compatibility from a v8 tranny from an LS is compatible with a v6. Guess I'll just take the lunge and hope it works. If not, Can always turn around and sell it for atleast what i bought it for.
