Default Will body panels from 1999 fit a 2002?

Hello all,

I have an Jaguar S-type R with some damages on it. I have now got the opportunity to buy a 1999 S-type in the right colour and plan to shift some body panels (door, front wing, trunk and rear bumper). But will they fit? After looking at SNG Barratt, I can see that the wing is same part no, but the door is different.

Anyone tried to mount pre-facelift parts on a 1.5 facelift?

BR

Some of them won't but I'm unsure exactly which. The wings won't I think. Probably some others also won't.

If you have a STR (2002.5 +) most panels won't fit as JagV8 mentioned. No supercharged S Type model prior to 2002.5 face lift.

the STR front bumpers are there own entity . cosmetically different to the non R s type during all years . although the rear looks the same on the non r as the r pre 04.
i've seen the difference between 2002.5 and 2004.5 the nose is nearly 3''s longer on the 05MY . same with the rear
im sure the front wings are the same on 99-2004
have i tried ? NO! so don't quote me .
