Default Window Problem on 03 S-type V6

Hello

I had a problem on driver side window, it stopped working at one time and after few month, it went down itself and doesn't come back on.

So decided to fix it now, replaced regulator and the motor, didn't work.

I replaced master switch but doesn't work on all other windows, only the memory seat is working fine.

Old master switch works on other windows but the driver side.

Is there any reset to program the switch?

I'm stuck on this, please help.

Thanks

FYI, I replaced switch because I smell something burnt from it.

Sounds like you could have a short in your wire loom somewhere. I'd check it out with a VOM. If you smell something burnt... It might not be just from your switch.

I'm tracking all the wires. I haven't seen any damage so far.

The thing is old switch is working (partially) but the new one doesn't.

Tried to calibrate it with so many different ways but didn't have chance to get it.

Is the switch new, or a used part from that famous auction site? Also, is it exactly the same part # as the original switch that was removed?

I got used switch from local Jaguar specialist shop. The guy told me all their electric parts are tested.

Switch didn't have the part number so I opened it up and compare with old one and everything matches even the circuit board.
