Window won't close all the way...
The front passanger side window is working properly, but it won't close all the way. It is coming up short by about 1/4 of an inch. I can slide it up to completely close but it inevitabley slides down. Is there a way to adjust the window. It is catching the rubber seal, so it's not leaking and barely noticable. Just annoying for a detail oriented person.
Sounds like a regulator, but you could try resetting the ECU by disconnecting the negative cable and touching it to the positive. Do it with the windows down, then after you reconnect it, roll the windows completely up and down a few times. Long shot, but worth a try.
I can't address the regulator issue, however, sometimes the driver's side window would slow, stop and then move down the track. I applied a coat of wax to the window and the window operated as intended.
As a preventative, I suggest applying a coat of wax to problem windows in addition to addressing any possible problems with the regulator and motor.
