So having lost two brand new tires and bent both rims as well to a canyonesque pot hole I was glad to see winter leave the last few weeks. It's been 70F here.

But not so fast!

Even though the substantial rain yesterday was tropical feeling, last night I heard the dreaded salt truck go by and thought to myself WTH?

So this morning there''s frozen snow about a 1/4" deep all over the place and it's 32F once again.

I get my scraper out as this stuff is really frozen on and hand the key to my wife to start the car to put on the defrosters while I clear the windows and windshield.

The driver's side is done and I go over to clear the passenger side then all of a sudden the wipers come on and one wiper is still frozen in place!

Well it finally moved ... and I hurriedly had my wife turn the car off but too late ...

Since it was raining last night I had left the wipers in auto mode and I guess some of the scraped snow triggered the sensor!

So I have one bent arm now ...

Sucks.

Not sure if I can bend it back.

I'll post a photo later.

 

I thought I was the only one things like that happened to.

 

Can't beat (Sod's / Murphy's) Law. Sure sucks.
