Angry wipers on a go slow

the other day my wipers where on a go slow now they have stopped working, but sat in the carpark waiting for my mrs doing the shopping they kept moving an inch every few minutes ,, please help or is there a tread aready , i checked the water level as the hand book said this can stop them working , cheers

Your wiper spindles have seized up.

Also if your wiper don't stop in the park position when you lock the car if will flatten your battery.

did the wipers today ,1 of spindles was very rusty , did it without taking the whole assembly out, the one on the outside ie near the drivers wing was the worst , wire brush and lots of WD40 then some chain lube did the job , cheers

well they worked for a week , got the whole lot out this morning and broke the ally body holding it all together , ordered another off ebay

will a 2004 nsf door fit my 2001 car ?
