Hi guys, last week i took out the spare tire and was cleaning the trunk of the car and notice this cable just beside the battery, search to see from where it was but couln't find where to connect.

The other cable is in the front bumper, was checking the righ hand fog light that is loose and found it. Is in front of the radiator, the cable isn't long enough to get to the fog light. i know that my father change the headlights feom Halogen to Xenon bulbs, don't know if this cable and socket is from the old connection of one of the headlights

Does anyone knows what this two sockets are for and where does they go?

Thanks for any help

The connector in the trunk was for the transit isolation relay. This device was removed before delivery to the customer. The harness was no longer needed and tucked out of way.

No idea about the connector up front.

There is a side light just above the fog light. Turn on your parking lights and see if one of them is not on. It is the yellow one. There is also the yellow turn signal side light on the back side of the fender. Turn on your turn signal and it should flash.

There are multiple unused connectors, scattered around the car. Normal for S-Types.

Was searching on ebay for a fuel level arm (finally found and bought one last week and seller backed up ) and saw this fuel injector S824 harness connector pigtail that is identical to the one I haven hanging in the front of the car. Link to the one I saw on ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/FUEL-INJECTOR-s824-HARNESS-CONNECTOR-PIGTAIL-FITS-JEEP-DODGE-FORD-HYUNDAI-MAZDA/163220836270?fits=Year%3A2001%7CModel%3AS-Type%7CMake%3AJaguar&hash=item2600b84fae:g:~ZQAAOS wPJxbgZrw

Other one specify that is ABS/ fuel injector harness conector

https://www.ebay.com/itm/ABS-Fuel-Injector-Harness-Connector-Pigtail-S824-S-824-1P1344-WPT-1051-PT2160/173451338737?fits=Year%3A2001%7CModel%3AS-Type%7CMake%3AJaguar&epid=3022169691&hash=item2862 8163f1:g:E5sAAOSwUv5bZjN8

Does this need to be connected? Sorry for the question but not a mechanic, learning in a way with you guys

Hi, won't open another threat for this as this wire is also in the trunk.

I will assume that this wire and conector is for the amplifier. I don't know what happened that the mechanic that worked with the ECM disconnect this when hi was searching for the problem when the car didn't start before realising that the problem was the ECM.

yesterday i got in the trunk of the car to take a look of another thing and find this two connector disconnected, i thought, well, this should be connected, and did it, immediately it started to make a bussing noise like the muffler had a hole (the car was on), i disconnect it and the noise stopped.

any idea of what's happening?
are this really the Amplifier connectors?

Any help will be apreciated
