License plate chrome add-on. Second pic belongs to jagxtype620.

I think it looks amazing.

I'd prefer more simplier design.

I looked at that plate too the other day as I'm trying to pimp my S-type. I like the leaper at the bottom, but didn't like the curving inside of the frame. If it were a straight edged frame inside and out, I would have bought it in a flash!

It wouldn`t fit, my registration plate is the same shape as the boot lid pressing,

I agree. Must be just us reserved Canadians though.

No license plate frames for me. They all trap dirt and debris, and many of them rattle when opening and closing the trunk. Our S-Type came with a license plate frame supplied by the Jaguar dealership I bought it from - those dealers love their free advertising. As soon as I got the car home, I removed the frame and tossed it into the recycling bin....

Agreed. Why do people look to make their Jag resemble some kid's Hyundai Accent? Does no one have taste? Understated is the key here people.

I vote (strongly) against fitting it.

If you have a chromed car, a chromed plate may look good. However, mine's dechromed (2004 STR, unmodded in any way) so the plate would look all wrong. IMO (and presumably Jaguar's).

Mine has the chrome factory Jag plate on trunk lip 06 so this goes perfect with the stock look on mine.

I voted yes, but it was on the assumption it goes on a smaller US plate, not the larger UK plates. I agree as well it would look better on a car with chrome already on it.

Illegal in NC (thank God) because it covers the great words "NORTH CAROLINA".
