Would you put this on your S-Type, yay or nay?
Ontario and Quebec are two very different places. If you cover any part of the plate here, you will be given a fix it ticket. How do I know? When I drove my Mercedes here from California, with California plates, I was given a ticket for the standard License frame from Fletcher Jones which covered part of the year sticker.
Year stickers do not exist in Quebec and yet I was given a ticket.
He is correct. If it covers the Je Me Souviens, he will be ticketed.

As mentioned the same law applies here in Texas but I have yet to hear anyone say they have been stopped for it.90% of the vehicles have some sort of plate frame covering a portion of the wording.
We also have a law that mandates front plates but I would guess that 50% of vehicles are missing one (including mine)but have never been stopped for it. I'm sure our cops are just too busy to worry bout trivial crap.
I also have these, they are spendy but the quality is actually pretty good.
+1, same here I have this on my STR also, and this is high quality build.
I'm not a fan of the overly ornate one in the original post, but i can see the appeal to some folks depending on how the rest of the car is "pimped."
LOL!!
Bob I saw a middle aged woman driving a newer Jeep Liberty with a set of chrome truck nuts hanging off some part of the undercarriage the other day. And a "Roll Me Over If You Can Read This" sticker on the back window. Yes, on a new Liberty, which has about as much off road ambition as my old X type.
She looked like a school teacher whose students decided to play some pranks on her or something. Hilarious!
