Default young insurance

hi i am 19, im looking at insuring my jaguar s-type V6 3.0ltr, i have had a quote for 2.2k, i have 1 years no claims, (a spotless black box record with co-op) does anyone know any specialist insurance that will do it any cheaper or any sites any one can recommend or anything i can do to make it cheaper (dont say wait or become a woman)

They're not allowed to treat you differently as a woman any more.

I suppose a 240HP 2 ton car isn't a good prospect to an insurer at your age. Try a broker, probably by phone, but don't be too hopeful.

Hi iam with adrian flux I was paying £900 fuly comp at 21 for my x300 sport iam 25 now an I pay £600 same car same insurance

Checking around, it looks as if there is unlikely to be a better deal than Co-op Blackbox for any young driver in the UK at the moment.

I surprised they are prepared to even quote your for an S-Type, let alone put on a huge loading. £2200 doesn't sound unreasonable from what I hear friends are paying for their offspring to drive considerably more mundane cars.

graham, im already with co-op young drivers for my other car, they dont offer insurance for certain cars(too big etc) went with the 2.2k, thanks for your helps, jordi
