Default ZF auto gearbox

Im having some issues with my ZF auto gearbox. Most of the time it is fine, but when I have been driving in heavy traffic for a while, the gear changes become very clunky and jerky. Just wondered if maybe it needs the latest gearbox software update. The gearbox has done around 90K.
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a temp related issue , but to be honest I'm only guessing ,
Check you coolers In the grill are not chocked up with bugs and leaves,
Also check between the coolers mine was a terrible mess I had to remove the seperate
Under tray from the radiator cooler cluster to clean in there very awquid indeed .
Also the fluid will get burnet with high temps and may need changed ,
I can't imagine it would be a software issue , could be rong thou!

When's the last time the fluid was changed or at least the level checked?
