Hi Guys,
I would love to add some photos of my newly acquired XK8, but not sure how to add them to the screen full size like the ones below, as apposed to adding them as an attachment.

Can anyone assist please ?

Smile Help Posting

Hi Guys,
Love the photos below and would like to add some of mine too (newly acquired 1998 XK8 Coupe). However, I cant work out how to add to the text area, as opposed to adding them as an attachment.

Can anyone please help ?

Many thanks

Joe

Went for a spin with friends in the MG Car Club. I had to keep the handbrake on!

Default New Cat - 1998 XK8

Light Teal main interior with dark teal carpets, facia and steering wheel.

An rare, but origional Jaguar paint called Aquamarine Mica, which I believe was only an option. offered to new buyers for one year in 1998.

The new Cat, cooling in the shade.

That color is really something special, I've never seen it. Plus you have NAV delete! Very nice Jag.

Default Thanks

Thanks Vagas - yes rare colour indeed and very eye catching. The car thankfully has never had a NAV display, but shortly going to fit Real Gauge mod. Fantastic these type of kits are available for such a classic old car.
Talk soon

Look into getting some trim rings for the gauges, they are just what the dash needs

Default Nice Ride

Very nice example and photo angle's Navada....
I haven't drove an XKR, which I'm told is a very different car to the standard XK8. Perhaps one day I'll 'jag' a ride in one

Regards

Come on over! This one in the Nevada picture is my 2001 XKR Silverstone, with about 41K on it. So last year of English production before the moved it to the US I believe? First year of CATS suspension still working well-huge difference between the sport and standard setting.

I would love to drive a 2002 XK100 Coupe now, try the better Recaro seats.

First year of cats on x100 is 1998,75.
First year of 4.2L and 6 speeds is 2003 but they started in late 2002.
Recaro are excellent.

Default Well it started out as a nice day...

Finally got the XKR out of the garage, took it to a show and then just made it home before the skies opened up and the animals started lining up 2 by 2... Think it is a sign?

Rob, been awhile since I've seen a pic of you XKR, forgot how nice it is. What rear spoiler do you have and could you post a rear pic.

So, I've been working on my XKR for nearly half a year now (new engine, loads of new parts) If I get everything mechanical sorted, I'll start with the cosmetics. But here's a picture I took with my phone, I think it represents really well, what one of the best looking pre-2000 cars looked like when it came off the production line.

Sure, these are older shots:

It is from the Zeemax body kit (I just bought the spoiler). Jaguar XK/8R Standard Width
