Gidday everyone,

I have recently inherited from extended family a 1969 4.2 XJ6 with approx 141,000miles on it.

This has been a 1 owner from new Nelson, NZ built Jaguar and I'm very proud to have been given it.

She's a bit rough around parts but it is WOF and rego'd and driveable on our roads which is great. I intended on slowly tidying it up. Unfortunately neither fuel level sensor currently works so I just keep pouring fuel in and there seems to be a slight leak from the engine bay. First up I think new fuel lines and coolant lines to be safe along with fluid changes.

Thanks and I look forward to your knowledge.

Welcome.

Yep, any non-metallic component is now very OLD and TIRED, so you have the right idea.

BBQ Jag is not fun, or at all tasty.
