I had Windrestrictor on my SLK55. Clear no light or engraving is like $350 for Jag. Was $240 on my Merc. He did a forum discount on the SLK site, maybe we can get them to join us and do the same. It is very nice. Still have the SLK one as I could not sell it on the forum.

 

I would be interested in a group buy - heck I will probably get it without a group buy....

 

Just bought it on rush, will post what it looks like on my car when it arrives.

I made my own.

I finished off the top with some side-molding you put on door edges to keep the doors from getting dinged.

Total material cost was less than $30.

Which one looks better? Clear or etched/illuminated?

 

On the SLK forum etched and lit was by far the most popular, my basic was the exception.

 

I would personally be a little embarrassed driving around with a etched / lit version, to my mind its not very classy and reminds me of being a teenager when neons under the car were all the rage.
