Default F type R AWD engine displacement

Silly question, I have the F Type R AWD. I know it is a 5.0L V8 but what is the exact displacement? I am entering the car in the Texas mile and my choices are "261.00-305.99 CID/4.277 - 5.014L" or "306.00-372.99 CID/5.015-6.111L" I know its minor difference but what to be sure am in the correct class. Everywhere I read says 5.0L but I cannot find any further breakdown.

Thank you.

Not shure how exact it is, but in the owners handbook it says 5000cc for the 5.0L V8 and 2995cc for the 3.0L V6.

From wikipedia I find that bore and stroke for the 5.0L V8 AJ133 is 92.5 mm (3.6 in) x 93.00 mm (3.7 in).

I guess you cant dispute the owners manual. Thanks for looking. I am far away from the car so don't have my manual handy.

It's splitting hairs I know, but that is how the classes are broken down.

Hasn't it historically been that Ford-derived 5.0L's were essentially 302 cubic inches whereas GM-derived 5.0L's were 305 cubic inches? I'm thinking back to the days of the Mustang GT/LX versus Camaro Z28/Firebird GT. If you have to choose, given Jaguar's past relationship with Ford, I'd go with 302.

I don't think you're in the 306+ CID class.

Those bore and stroke figures give exactly 5.0 litres and 305 cubic inches, see here: Cubic inch displacement and liter calculator

exact result by using simple math :

bore^2 * PI / 4 * stroke * #cylinders = displacement

(9,25cm)^2 * PI / 4 * 9,3cm * 8 = 4999.73 ccm

Thank you gentlemen. I have chosen the class class with the make displacement of 5.014L. Im searching the top speed limiter. So far I have seen top speed of 186mph but cant determine if that is limited or just top speed on an open endless road.
Not that I expect to do that in stock form in one mile.

The factory speed limiter is set at 300kmh which is 186mph, it's possible to remove the limiter completely but only with customised software.

Thank you. I figured with a tune I could remove the limiter. That will wait because I am enjoying the car so much as it is. Or my better half is. I got three days with it before having to come to work in the Middle East.

Cambo, from what I could see on the maps, it didn't seem possible to entirely remove the speed limiter, but it could be raised to 320 kph. Have you been able to confirm otherwise? The limiter not only affects the speed limit, but also initiates some torque reduction as you approach the set limit.

The speed limiter is actually in the Car Configuration File, there is no option in the standard CCF to disable it or set it higher, 300kmh is the max.

But with a custom written CCF, it can be disabled.

Thanks for the info. The standard CCF on my 2016 offers a 320 limit.
