So my latest kick was building a special home for my Jag and Creating a man hide out from my fiancé and kids
I would love to see other peoples man caves! Post Em If You Got EM
Envious of the cave. Love the big screen and checkered floor. I've started the slow process of working on mine for the car. Will likely take a few years as I need to build a storage shed to get the Garage back.
I had to build storage above car and load up out door shed. This project took about 2 weeks me and my buddies did pretty much everything. It was allot of fun!

Love you choices of programming! Both of them. Car is great too!
Speaking of Car Man Caves....hey Zack how goes the new house construction? Dream cave in the making boys and girls up in Canada.
I'm in love. Self-installed? I'm not sure I'm capable enough to do that.
Thanks. Yes, I installed it myself; it wasn't technically challenging but it took some effort to lift some of the larger pces.....I used an engine hoist and since I bolted it down, it was nice that I already had a large Hilti hammer drill.
Now, all I have to do is cut down that load bearing I-beam hanging down from the ceiling to get enough vertical clearance.
You don't really need a roof, right? LOL.
Actually this whole "shop build" has been my 3rd in the last 10 years and it looks like I'm on route for a 4th! This past one was challenging in that I went from a 24' x 40' x 12'6"h shop to a 24'x 24' attached garage with a 10' x 10' workshop and 10' 4" ceilings......which was just enough for the lift.
Now I'm building a new house and the current plan is to separate the cars by having the DD's in the 24' x 24' attached garage and having a 30'x 40' x 16'h detached shop.

....then maybe I can stay put for awhile! Haha!

Dave,
Perhaps you should reconsider. I built a new house a couple of years ago, w/ a 3-car attached garage, as well as a 36 X 50' HVACed barn w/ 16 foot ceilings. I'm running out of room. :-)

No doubt; I always tell my wife that there is no such thing as too much garage/shop space....she doesn't necessarily agree so there is some "negotiation" involved! ;-)
