Yep, Kingdom Films LLC used my XKR when filming a commercial for intermtnwindandsolar dot com to run on both the interwebz and my local TV stations!
They even slid me come cash to do it.

My X308 and I were in a TV commercial about 10 years ago. Some friends of mine owned a ski hire shop and decided to advertise on TV so asked if they could borrow my kids so that they could appear in the commercial.

The film crew also decided to do an action shot of me putting some ski gear in to a roof rack on my car. There was no chance of the Jag ever going anywhere near a ski field but it got to appear on TV!

 

Consumers will think that product is too fancy for them if they see such a hot car in the commercial!

 

I THINK it is supposed to be one of the "Bad Guy" shots, as there were three different vehicles with the same scenario. One was a Redneck in a lifted and loud truck; a cocky-type guido guy in mine, and then a well-dressed presentable guy in a nice clean and nondescript sedan.
The director liked my license plate and decided to use it as it fit the Cocky Guido...... "UR2SLO".
..... but...... I'm not LIKE that!!!

 

Easy now...there are a few of us in Chicago with last names that end with a vowel who have friends and family that get really upset about statements like that!

Enjoy the stardom...I am waiting to see mine out there in Digital-land. Since I did the blue wrap I have seriously had at least 5 people taking pictures of the car while next to me or behind me at stop lights!
