Driving it to Caffeine and Exotics tomorrow at Lenox in Atlanta. All shiny and clean.

 

One of my favorite places to speed is around the curves on peachtree just past lenox. Never any fuzz there.

 

Great turn out today. Lots of Italians! Funny how the "old" XKR still pulls gawkers.

Got the new toy today! Cowls were off but I set the top one on for pics.

This little thing is a rocket. 205mph cruise on 8 gallons an hour. 25mpg!

 

Nice! How about a picture with your XKR that emphasizes their similar rooflines? Are cars allowed by the hangar?

 

Yes I can drive right up to it. However the airplane needs a little work before it's airworthy. I'll be Subaru-ing it to Cobb field to get it ready. It's a 45 minute drive through traffic hell. I have to get it out of there ASAP. Once it's flying and all cleaned up I'll do some cool pics. Hopefully going to keep it at Lawrenceville. Maybe even Monroe.

 

Congratulations! Looks to have about the same amount of cargo space as your XKR! Makes packing easy, if it fits in one, it'll fit in the other. Enjoy!

 

That pretty think makes the old Piper Cub I used to have look like a mossy rock with old branches stuck on it.

 

And they fly about the same as they look.
