Ive seen some people say they've got the cruise upgrade. Are you referring to the adaptive cruise control?? And, Do you know if its available for all X type models and years?? Is it expensive??

No its not adaptive.My 3.0 Sport was upgraded a couple of months ago with the same cruise the SE X Types have.Cost me £20 for the cruise/audio switches for the steering wheel and £50 (back hander) to a guy in a Jag dealership who knows how to get around the block that Jaguar have put on upgrading the X Types software to allow it to run cruise.(If it were an S type any dealer can easily reprogram the ECU to run cruise).
All other parts are already in place in X types to run cruise.

 

So, your X didnt have cruise?? You would think that would be a standard feature.

 

Nope,Not standard on UK Sport.

 

Wow...go figure...well i suppose the UK doesn't want you to set the cruise at 100 mph

That blows I can't stand a car without cruise...I love being able to set the cruise and watch my mpg avg. go up when its warm enough not to see my low temperature warning light go on! Man MICHIGAN SUCKS!!!
