So what size spacers are recommended if I lower the car & go with 305's?
I have 15mm/15mm adapters with the H&R sprng set (actual measured lowering was 1.25" front, 1.5"rear). I currently have the 295s on the back but it looks like the extra 5mm clearance needed for the 305s will be available. I currently have the 305s sitting in the garage waiting for the 295s to wear out.
I have a curious question, the answer to which is really none of my business, but I'm gonna ask anyway... you purchased a rather expensive, precision engineered sport car... yet it seems that in the vast majority of your purchase considerations, you are quite vocal about shaving a nickel here and a dime there off the price of accessories. You've even just recently started a thread looking for a contact for discount parts... You purchased cheap wheel spacers off of Ebay of all places, and created a dangerous condition on your vehicle. When presented with a safer alternative, your first question is: "will they still honor that price". As I recall, not too long ago you were concerned about the expense of a phone mount that sells for $20. I could dig up other examples if you like, but to my question: why did buy such a nice, expensive sports car if you are going to continually comment about prices and pinch pennies as you accessorize?

In fact I already did with the oem bumper plugs instead of Fooshes Honda ones at Kragen. I think I paid 24.99.

No bumper plugs were used on my car. I bought them, but found them unsatisfactory. The dealer ended up paying to repair my bumper bar, because the dealership drilled the holes w/o asking me when it was new.

Yes, you'll have to grind off about 2mm of the 4-5mm unthreaded stud tip or they will barely touch the back side of the wheel such that it won't seat properly on the spacer.

+1. To be safe, about 2.5mm leaving about 3 mm of unthreaded shaft at the end.
i would stay away from cheaply made china spacers, they will likely crack and break within a few months. in fact you would be lucky if they lasted that long. USA made Alcoa billet is the one and only option IMO, they will last forever.

The spacers Unhingd is running that we bought in the original group buy here are exactly that. They were custom-milled from a solid block of Alcoa billet specifically to the specs we gave them for the F-Type.

Did you trade your car in Foosh? You kept them on?
What is the name of the company again that made them, someone suggested they may have an extra set.
I decided not to use them because I didn't want to lower my car, and I thought they looked kinda funny on a car at OEM height. I sold them to Unhingd, and he's already given you the company info above (see post #21).
Traded in my f type before I could get the spacers on. They're brand new in box, never mounted. Only opened them to take pictures. High quality, German made. H&R makes excellent products. $250obo free shipping. Alanhenson@yahoo.com
Just to add to this - a friend of mine had the flat type, as yours Polaris, after 4-5 months he noticed a problem and got a disc specialist in - the discs had to be re-shaped and the guy put the blame squarely on the non-hubcentric spacers
It's all good, can never be too careful providing safety info. There will enevitibly always be those that will miss your point and will need to read it again.
