Mine's not quite as dark, 10% taillight tint, stock diffuser and such.

 

Greetings all…back in October 2014 I purchased my first XK and joined this forum. I have enjoyed putting my touch on the car and finally decided to post some pictures.

My XK is a 2008 4.2 convertible. I got it from the local Jaguar dealer with only 30K miles. It was a well taken care of example.

I added the wood/leather steering wheel, Takoba wheels, chrome mesh grills, sport pedals (including dead pedal)…but my favorite was putting on quad exhaust tips.

By the way, my previous car was a 2005 SL500…it was a nice looking car, but the XK is way more fun to drive and you don’t see as many of them. Not to bash Mercedes, but I had several problems with the SL and so far my XK is problem free. Needless to say, I’m very happy with my decision to change brands and have never looked back.

Hey Ralphwg...I used the local Jaguar dealer. I tried to find a good used one, but no luck, so I got a new one through them, they installed it as well. Mark

Thanks! I thought this was a more-or-less rare color and maybe it is in Jaguars, but now that I'm driving it, it seems like every Hyundai, Chevy and Cadillac Escalade I pass is sporting this color!

Then again, until I got the XK, I very rarely saw any other XK on the roads around San Antonio--and I was looking! Now I see two or three a week--compared to two or three a year for Supra sightings!

You've been playing with the HDR controls, haven't you?

 

Nope - I don't use HDR.
This is all naturally metered, shot in RAW and post-processed in Adobe.
But it is the product of a single frame with an an adjustment curve applied.
