Today, I installed the TCP Intake that I purchased from a fellow forum member (Thanks Stuart !!!) on my 3.0 XF.
There were a few minor modifications that had to be made.
Performance wise, this was a great addition. When I started the car, the exhaust sound had a deeper tone, and now I can actually hear the SuperCharger spooling up. The most noticeable improvement was the responsiveness. The lag between pedal input is still there, but much less pronounced. The reaction I kept having driving down the street was "Wow, this is my car making that sound" as the right corner of my lip was lifting up into a satisfied smirk...here are pics of the TCP along with adjustments:
First, the hose connections are located in different positions (red oval) and the bleeder hose is no longer there (yellow oval)
Went to the autoparts store, and got a small hose with a 90 degree bend, cut it to size and mated the to ends with a 90 degree elbow (will replace that PVC elbow with brass fittings when I find the correct size)
I had to cut about 3/4" of hose from this end (blue oval) because there was a bad kink in that portion of the intake. This intake was for a XFR. I have good clearance around all the intake parts except for where it is slightly touching the air snorkel (red oval). Don't know if this will cause an issue.

The slight touch of the RHS intake tubing on the intake snorkel won't cause any problems, the TCP intake I had on the XFR touched quite hard on both snorkels and didn't result in any problems.

Note this is for the XFR (5.0 litre V8), and not the 3.0 litre V6.
Per the TCP web page a specific 3.0 intake kit is "coming soon".
So you have two choices, buy the XFR kit and modify it like Cherry has done, or wait (who knows how long) for the 3.0 kit.

Well done! Home depot or Lowes will have that 1/2in. pvc elbow in brass or stainless.

Been trolling the F Type side for info. Just ordered the Velocity AP tune !!! Getting the car on Friday from the exhaust shop. Will probably dyno again to see where I am at before the tune.
