I asked my dealer about adding the little badge to my grill... he had the parts guy come out to look at my car, and explained that the little badge would not attach to my grill... your grill looks different than mine.... wider holes. Did you have to replace the grill?
Easy to install. Part from China/ebay. Had to shorten the studs as they were too long to put it as low as I wanted it. Had to remove the 10 or so plastic screws from the top under the hood, and bend the plastic front fascia down to get my arm in to tighten the nuts on the badge. Sorry... Should have taken pictures.

Did not change the grill. Not sure what "option" the dealer would have, but the one I posted works.
I think Jag left the R badges off as the XE is just R " Inspired" and not a true R.
So when the S model comes next year to the US that will be the next bump in model forms.
Just look at the F-Type flow format in naming or even the older XF's.
I want to remove my 35T and just put the R or S badge there so people will stop saying I have a 3.5 L Turbo V6. Maybe even just toss the older RS badging on the car and be done with it. Lots of plaques and badges on Ebay to choose from that are same as Jags or very close. Look out for the cheap ones though.
I too think the 3.5 "T" nomenclature made zero sense. I was going to replace the T with an "S" or "SC", but as it happens I'll be getting the VAP tune in the next week, perhaps I will make mine a 3.5V? It'd be subtle, but accurate.
I think it'd be cool if we could get a VAP badge for the front grille too...just thinking aloud here....
rgun2515 I do think your R badge looks good.

Reason: r for s

I made my R- Sport badge as above photos as it is not strictly an "R". I think the US 35T are virtually "S" so put on an S badge.

That's a tough one, all of them are cheap really, the ones that are a bit more expensive generally are US sold but come from same Chinese sellers. How can you tell which ones are good?
