I am looking to put a personalized plate on my newly acquired 2008 XKR. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm also obsessed with these.
Richzak, I love "XKR" but that's not a possibility here in CA, sad to say... (one of the advantages of living in New Mexico).
I've had a few too many speeding tickets to put anything like "2 fast" on a plate. All I can imagine is the look on the cop's face as I'm rolling down my window with my driver's license and registration.
And I'm with those who wouldn't put any "AMG" reference on my plate. Who cares about those guys?
I've attached mine. It's a shout-out to my "other" home, the East Village in NYC.

 

On the topic, my favorite plate ever was on a Miata that I pulled up behind in traffic:

I wanted to get the guy to pull over so we could take a pic, but no luck...

 

Hoe 'bout LEAPER

I bought vanity plates for my son in 2008 and it was $40/yr. ( We still pay that because it's grandfathered). Since then, TX changed it so now it's $450 ( $90/yr) IF you buy the 5 years in advance. It's a lot more if you do it yearly. Kinda thinking ripoff now.....

 

In Utah, you pay $60 one time for the new plates. Nothing extra after that. Ever.

 

yea that sounds perfectly reasonable.

 

My 1960 Corvette, special order and bought new in November 1959 and sold in 2002. Unrestored original (mostly). Color is Honduras Maroon.

just go for the RRRRRRR as thats the sound it makes
