My name is Keith and I live in Bolton in the glorious north of England. I drive a 2003 S-Type 3.0 SE auto. I bought it as a birthday present to myself in February 2016 having wanted a Jag for as long as I can remember. In the 14 months I've had the old bus I've changed the rear pads, paid an extortionate amount for a brake hose, changed the CCV three times (and it still doesn't work - go figure), and changed the oil a couple of times.
A couple of weeks ago I had my first breakdown when the trans cable came loose at the trans end leaving it stuck in reverse. Easy and cheap fix when you know how (thanks to this forum). If anyone finds a tiny little M6 bolt on the streets of Bolton, it's mine and I'd like it back please.
You can include a link to Flickr but it won't work the way you've tried. I copied your S-Type from there:

Hello, Keith,
Your car is just playing that old Bonding Game; seeking your attention, trying to make up for years of the PO's negligence. You'll get it all sorted out eventually.

To be honest I'd bonded in the car on the way to look at it. By the time I'd test driven it, I was totally smitten. I even paid the asking price and didn't try to knock them down. Pathetic really.
The previous owners had it for about 10 years and had it serviced and repaired by Jaguar. I remain smitten.
