The "bumper bar", is simply a plastic trim piece, there is no metal bar protecting the front grille as one might have imagined. If it served any meaningful purpose I might have thought twice about replacing the grille for the P7 version.

I am still waiting to fit my grille just waiting a while on the best option for refitting the two front "bumper bar" PDS sensors. I really want to create a factory finish as opposed to a home made look.

l have even been thinking about fitting them in the bodywork next to the edges of the grille. A 16mm hole in the paintwork and then held in place with an original sensor clip holder on the inside.

Without the seller making a federal case out of it, I would think the one-piece P7 grille would improve value of any F-Type, though marginally so.
In my case, I could try to pawn it off as a feature of the (very) limited V6U edition.

DIA is an abbreviation for diameter the interior width of the circle

In this instance if you were drilling a hole you would use a 17mm drill

My own stoh n sho solution
A sheet of aluminum bent and varnished in black.
The number plate is fastened with Velcro.
The shield is fixed with the screw of the front lip. So I do not need to drill.

My friend with the 3D printer has given the order. The creation of the adapters can take a few more days ...

You can use double sided tape to fix the plate rather than Velcro. That way it is more permanent.

I only drive the Jaguar in summer. So it is better, if I have a solution, which I can always easily take off to the logoff of the car.

This is difficult with double-sided adhesive tape.

Cost of this solution: 6,90 €

The adapters are ready, but have to be adjusted a bit. It is just a bit missing that the adapter fits perfectly.

I will adapt the adapters tomorrow with a file so that these fit perfectly into the grill.

Here are some photos.

The adapters I have now varnished.

The new adapters fit perfectly. They are already very firm by simply pressing them. For safety, I've ever taken a drop of glue.

Above is about 1mm still open, but it is too difficult to fill the honeycomb completely, since this does not have straight forms.

Behind the grill everything is black and so you will not see this small gap.

I have normal sensors, as well as angle sensors, since I do not know exactly which my Jaguar dealers want to use. The cables can be laid invisibly.

I have an appointment for assembly on Wednesday and will report immediately afterwards.

If you need an adapter, please pm to me. It can take a while, however, since the 3D man is on vacation.
