Default Missing badge

Hi all, well after many years, now retired and bought a 2005 4.2 XK8S, needed some work which has been done, plus a full respray and it looks superb. However now after a month, on washing and polishing I noticed the badge from the rear nearside was missing(4.2S). Contacted the spray company, but they can't find it....I know its a long shot but would anybody know of one please, done all the usual channels, and eBay, but nothing. Any help would be appreciated, many thanks.

Welcome.

The people in the XK8 section may have answers, also the Vendors that support here could also be of assistance.

Good luck.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar and all your successful repairs and repaint.'
I'm sorry the badge fell off though. Someone will be along soon to direct you to the correct section where other members who own this car too may be able to help you find another one.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Deggo27,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

The badges were becoming hard to find when I had my 2005 4.2-S four years ago. None of the usual sources are listing new ones so the specialist Jaguar breakers are going to be your best chance.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
