F Type P 550 AWD Dynamic. Much catchier than F Type R.

Just when we thought JLR couldn’t screw up the naming convention any further.

I like the badging on my 2015.
The new badge? I would debadge "P380Awd"
Don't like it, it's like a Mercedes or BMW model. Keep it simple....

I would say it's logical but dopey, especially in the US and Canada.
P for petrol, D for diesel, then the number = power in PS units, then other letters to signify such things as AWD.
Of course 99.9% of punters wouldn't have a clue what any of this means, and our Murican friends never use PS.
But it's close to bhp so they think it means the same, although it exaggerates the power a tad.
For example the F-Type R has 550 PS but only 542 bhp but 99% believe it has 550 bhp coz 550 is the number bandied about by all the motoring journos.

Sorry for not answering the OP's question......

In my opinion, utterly boring, clinical, and generic.

Whatcha got there? Is that an "R"?

Um, well it's a P blah blah blah. It used to be called an R, but now they're called this.

Oh. Sounds sexy.... not.

Not to worry...the next Jag I buy (if ever) will be a custom order from the SV Ops. I'll be telling them exactly where they can put their R-Dynamic Badge.

I wouldn't mind ordering my next one from SV Ops: debadged and with the radar-absorbing paint

Okay...that one's going on the build sheet as long as it comes in BRG.
